Most pressure washing complaints don’t come from bad cleaning — they come from a customer expecting a wash to fix something cleaning was never going to fix, and finding out only after paying. We’d rather tell you upfront: pressure washing removes surface-level dirt, mold, mildew, algae and staining, but it does not repair existing damage, remove certain organisms that are actually a landscaping issue rather than a dirt issue, or reverse material degradation that’s already happened. Oxidized or chalky paint, cracked stucco, already-degraded caulking, and worn roof shingles are all conditions that exist before we ever touch the surface — cleaning can sometimes make old, weathered paint or oxidation more visible rather than causing it. We do a walkthrough before every job specifically to identify and photograph these conditions, so there’s no dispute afterward about what was pre-existing versus what happened during the job.
